Trinity School of Law Open Day

The School of Law is holding its annual Open Day for Law on Saturday, 15 October.  This event is designed to give prospective students more information about the subject of law and what it is like to study law at Trinity College Dublin.  Participants will have the opportunity to take seminars in core modules such as torts, constitutional law and attend a lecture on Criminal Law.

Students will be assigned to small seminar groups and assigned to current law student mentors. There will also be the opportunity to talk to staff members, who will be taking the classes and seminars as well as law students.  Parents, guardians and teachers are welcome to attend an information session on studying law at Trinity at the beginning of the event.

If any 6th yr students are considering undertaking a degree in law they should register for the event. Details of the event are available from Trinity's website http://www.tcd.ie/Law/news-events/2016/law-open-day.php and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/TrinityCollegeDublinLaw/

Registration is simple, but students must do so in advance.  Places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Places are generally taken up very quickly so please advise your students to book as quickly as possible.

To register, please ask your students to email law.school@tcd.ie the following information:
1. name of person attending
2. home postal address
3. email address (for confirmation of place)
